If you were recruited to the army and you're openly gay?
If you were recruited to the army and you're openly gay, are you forced to stash away your sexuality in the closet again?
Legally, yes, you can only serve in the military if you're in the closet. However, I've known a few gay people who served in the military. One was a guy that came out and he was discharged within a month. The others were women. It was suspected they were gay because everyone woman who serves in the military is suspected of being a lesbian or a slut. For one of them her command found out and they just said don't be too obvious about it and left it at that. She finished her enlistment and left without a problem.
It depends on your command, and your MOS, and your performance. If you're a grunt chances are the other grunts in your unit are going to be idiots about it and try to kick you out. If you suck at your job and your command can use that as an excuse to kick you out they will. If you're great at your job they probably won't care because most people would rather have a gay who knows what they are doing than a heterosexual coward that couldn't do their job and is gonna run at the first sight of trouble.

How to stash away your millions... Goan-style
This is for stay-at-home moms out there. I'd like to know how much do you save a month for yourself?
Do you have a personal account (without your husband's knowledge) and money stashed away for your own dreams? I'd like to start one.
I have been a stay-at-home for many years, and until I read this question...I never even thought of having an account stashed away! Haha, how much of a dork am I? 
If you are asking if it is a good thing or bad thing, I can't think of anything wrong with that. I also can't think of anything wrong with talking with the hubby about it; unless he isn't treating you well and you need money to live on your own.
Often times people make the mistake of not paying themselves first. I think that is a big mistake; especially for those stay at home parents who don't get a paycheck at all...it is a problem. How can someone pay them self if they work for a cashless job?
So heck yeah. Put a bit away for yourself. Have your working spouse do the same. You can even start with $10 a piece each check....not a king's ransom, but could be handy in dire circumstances...or during times when you should pay yourself for the work you do.
