Is it possible to have a 25 room Hotel building with Steel structure. Thay is instead of traditional RCC can we have a 25 room hotel constructed using steel construction? Is it economic and how much time will it take to construct the same? Appraximate area would be 5000sq.ft to 10000sqft.

Yes you can have a steel structure building, as if it is more economical than RCC, I think it is , and it is much faster in completion than RCC,
For such area steel structure is less in time than the RCC by 30% to 40%, my experience could estimate 6months to 8 months duration for steel structure

The difference between flat-steel and spiral corset boning?

I've been making corsets for the past few years with brand name patterns and cheap plastic boning, and would like to go into serious corsetry. I've ordered the Laughing Moon pattern, and would like to know what is the difference between flat-steel and spiral boning in terms of purpose? Like is spiral boning for flexibility and flat-steel for support? I work as a Night Auditor at a hotel and have to take care of the pool, so would spiral bones be better for me, or does it not matter? Sorry, I'm kind of all over the place. lol

Also, which is the cheapest website for materials (boning, busks, grommets, etc...)? I've looked at several and it seems corsetmaking.com has pretty low prices, but their shipping rates are outrageous!

Spiral steel is far more flexible and allows for more freedom of movement. Unless you have a broken back or medical problem you don't need all the support of steel bands, you need freedom of movement and comfort from the spiral steel -especially if you plan on wearing the corset all the time. Also, you can cut spiral bones to the length you need while flat steel comes in a limited number of lengths and cannot be cut to size. Corsets can be a fun fashion look, and for special occasions a corset bodice can be stunning. However if you are thinking of tight lacing, waist training and constant corset wearing please be a aware that there are serious health risks that can befall a tight-lacer. Many in the corset community no longer encourage waist training or tight-lacing, preferring moderate lacing which encourages corset wearing as something that's comfortable and something even a modern active woman can do and reminded everyone that it doesn't need to hurt. What are the health risks involved?

Bustiers & plastic-boned corsets - none.
Moderate lacing - little if done properly. Be sure to exercise out of the corset to prevent muscle atrophy.
Tight lacers - can be severe if you do not take proper care of yourself. Tight lacing can lead to organ damage, organ misplacement (shrinking your waist drastically can cause your organs to relocate up into your ribcage or down into your pelvis). It can also cause back muscles to atrophy.

When you make your first corset test the fit of the pieces by cutting and sewing them in scrap cloth first. You can adjust the fit in the test phase and then alter the pattern before cutting the coutil fabric. Take you time, don't rush and if you don't quite understand a pattern instruction, test the step in scrap cloth, usually that's enough to figure out what the written instructions are saying. For supplies, sometimes cheap isn't best. the two site I listed have good quality supplies and the prices are reasonable. I've shopped from Farthingale's many times.
