Steel Security I rehab homes and theives are robbing me blind at night. Any security reccomendations beyond the obvious?
The homes are in changing neighborhoods. They all have steel doors and windows but I need a mobile security device. Any recomendations?
Actually there is a new alarm out that is placed in the house or building that uses infra red to detect movement.
You have about 20-30 seconds to disable, if not it will dial up to 9 differant number using a cell phone design in the unit. Check with your local tool rental. they usually go for about $30.00 a month.

Depending on your budget and the size of your stage you most likely would only "see" a couple of stories anyway. I suggest 1/2 " ply wood covered with plaster and painted with a stucco finish the doors can be painted on the wood using halved PVC pipe to add a slight 3-D touch or you can leave the cell door ways open using hole pipe and having a black back drop. I'm not sure the "sound" ou are looking for but there wold be a hallow sound to an open steel and concrete block, Nut no mater what you used for construction, the sound will be dampened bu the stage walls and curtains. Perhaps you can find a sound effect that would help create this sound.(an echo machine would work I think) Good luck!
