I need Advice-Single Mom, Huge House, 3 Yr Old Son sleeping in my bed?
I need your advice/opinions please! I am a single mom of a great 3 year old little boy. He's very smart and intuitive about things. We are Americans living in Thailand and I'm now living with him in a really big huge house. It seems quite safe, with 24hour security, but a couple weeks ago at 9 pm I heard someone trying to open the back door. Then I heard a door open but somehow I fell asleep (I know, strange). I had my bedroom door locked and didn't say anything to him. I really wasn't sure about the last sound I heard, but it really did seem clear to me at first. I think he maybe sensed something anyway (seeing me lock our room door). Next morning the back storage room door was wide opened. I was scared and told the security guys. Since then my son has been sleeping in my room in my big bed. I know some people think it's bad to be in that habit but I cant have him sleep in the other room now. I did it one night and had nightmares the whole time. What do you think I should do?
If you are a person of faith...I would 1st, find a group of people who share your faith locally and find a support group. Second, pray over your house, especially any areas that give you the heeby jeebies now. Pray over your son. As often as you can. Try starting a bedtime routine. If you already have one, think about altering it some. Make sure he is going to be early enough. Too late will overstimulate and can cause all kinds of behavioral issues. Make sure he is not up too early. Same issues. I have a 6, 4 and 3 year old. I start putting them in the bath at 7:30 PM. They are usually dressed and in bed by 8:15PM, read a story and asleep by 8:30PM. Every child is different. But I think this will help you a lot. Also, as hard as it is (from experience, living abroad by myself with little ones)...try to keep your feelings of fear and nervousness hidden from him (especially at this age and in such a stressful situation as he is in). Make it a fun routine with songs and smiles the whole time. I limit their tv time especially around those hours. If they are watching...it is a DVD that is soothing and will not wind them back up OR give them any negative dreams. It will take many attempts. It won't happen over night. But you need to be consistent. That is the biggest thing I learned. No matter what it is your trying to do...you must be consistent and in it for the long haul. They are smart, like you said your little man is. And they will take that one time of inconsistency as their ticket to do it or not do it from then on out. I am praying for you. Is there a difference in doing a search when using search strings vs. search terms?
Here is my example,
I want to collect all information on a computer and network storage for pizza. If I use a search strings (two or more words) of cheese pizza, olive pizza, pineapple and bacon pizza will yield different results if I just search for pizza in general correct?
The reason I ask is because I am working on a public disclosure in which I am trying to explain the difference to the group involved in this request. The requesting party wants all data. I believe that if search strings are used, then information may be omitted. I would say that using a single search term is a safer bet because all data will then be provided and yield a lower chance of omitting data.

When you enter multiple words for a search the engine first tries all the words together, then it looks for all the words near each other. It then looks for various combinations and then single words.
For example "pizza" will give 1,630,000 results while "cheese pizza" will give 15,800,000 because it includes a search for "cheese". Do not include quotes.
If you search for "cheese pizza" with the quotes it will only return items with those 2 words together and returns 185,000.
