do i need a korean police certificate during the interview at the us embassy?


i got confused about this situation cuz i can;t even understand what is goin on...they say i need a police clearance from all the country but the problem is i found the website of korean and us embassy and they said that they can secure and get the korean police certificate if ur physically present in korea, but im already here in manila...i went to korea last oct2007 and get back here sept2008 mean i didnt finish the whole 1 year of staying there plus i just worked there in just 5 weeks cuz i runned from the club cuz i dont like the job and for me to survive and go back here i have o make money first thats y i stayed there til sept2008 and thats the time i met my hubby and we get married here in manila, my hubby is in the military...what am i suppose to do now? my interview is on july17...should i need a korean police certicate? need a good answer and please just dont make it fun with it....

No, you won't need it. According to the State Department's own website, travel.state.gov, Korean police certificates are not available to anyone living outside of Korea. Since that's the case, you won't need to present one.
