You probably know how to train, so I got a few tactics for the race. Don't get boxed in. Stay connected to the leaders. Don't cut in at a large angle when you can cut into the first lane, instead use a gradual angle for close to 100 meters, if you don't you are running FARTHER than needed. A general rule says that a middle distance runner only has energy for 2 aggressive moves in a race, so don't waste them on catching up after getting boxed in or cutting too sharply. Work smarter not harder is what you need to remember. Depending on what kind of runner you are as well you can determine your strategy. a 400/800 runner(more of a sprinter) will have a larger advantage towards the end of the race, so you should really kick it in (last 300 meters) then. But a 800/1600 meter runner will have more advantages in the first 600 meters since they can surge the pack (literally increasing the pace) to drop the 400/800 meter runners back. Good luck man.

Tactical AK-47 Training in Serbia for Security Contractors & Bodyguards
Can the sport of professional AirSoft be considered as a modern-weapon-based martial art?
Just wondering that. And before you give me your answers, please remember that a martial art is not always about hand-to-hand combat, but it has more like a general definition. Martial arts are systems of codified practices and traditions of training for combat. Period, it doesn't need to have hand-to-hand techniques. Kendo and fencing for example, doesn't use any hand-to-hand techniques, only sword fighting, and they are still considered martial arts.
So I was wondering, what about a modern sport that makes use of modern tactics and weapons use like Airsoft? Can it be considered a martial art in the future?
It is under the category of sissy-based martial art
