Why is Passing NOT Safe on Two Lane Roads?
I need four reasons why passing isn't safe on two lane roads. I already know that traffic goes in opposite directions, and oftentimes, drivers go too slow and disrupt traffic.
Any other ideas would be appreciated.
Here are four reasons why it is not safe to pass on two lane roads.
1. It is clearly illegal. If you pass on a two lane road and you are caught by police, then you will receive a fine and you may be jailed for reckless driving.
2. Passing on a two lane road is dangerous because you could cause a collision with on coming traffic. There may be traffic coming up ahead and you may not see it, and cause a head on collision.
3. You may scare the other driver in front of you. Passing when there are two lanes may cause the other driver to swerve or accidentally make a wrong move and create a collision with you or someone else.
4. Broken lines only permit passing in a lane. As stated before it is the law, but when there are no broken lanes then it is understood that you are to stay on your side.
