Should I buy a Canon 30D with Grip (Used) or a Canon 40D?
Hi! Recently, I am thinking upgrading to DSLR from my current panasonic lx2. After some research, I have managed to limit my choices to Canon 30D and Canon 40D. The thing is I am not sure if I should get a canon 30D with grip instead of the newer canon 40D. The price different is about USD 240 from where I am staying. For all the experts out there, would you please advise? Thks!
There isn't a real HUGE difference between the two. You may want to get the 40D just to have the most up-to-date model in that series. However, not far down the road, Canon is releasing the EOS 50D. Again, an upgrade with a few fairly significant changes. But, if you just wait until the 50D comes out (I think in a few months?), the price on the 40D will surely drop - more than it has in the past few months ever since the$200 Instant Rebate Canon had going on the 40D recently. The prices never went back up after the rebate was over - at most places anyway. So, I would be willing to bet that the price on the 40D will drop even more after the 50D comes out.

Does every tennis player HAVE to use the continental grip?
I was at my classes yesterday and it was my first time attending the place with that class and the coaches were changing my grip... Now my shots were all going into the net and it was terrible. They changed my grip and I was used to my previous one but they want me to use the continental grip?

Most people use the continental grip for the volley but not for forehand and backhand. If they make you hit your forehand with a continental grip, you should look for a new coach.

ICS is a good brand overall, and the stats you show are decent, and since you're paying a hefty amount, you deserve that quality. I think they are the same, and I know I've shot the 25th edition one, and it was a beast. It's good as both a collector's item and a competition-grade rifle. The one thing I never liked was that the battery had to be put in the PEQ box, which is why I don't like M4s much- they can't hold larger batteries without the box.
