Video Security Camera
How can i set up my video camera so that i can monitor it on my computer?
i want to put the camera about.....10 feet max, away from my computer. How can i do do this?
I have a basic video camera, a dell computer using Vista. I want it to be like a security camera. suggestions greatly appreciated!

if yo have a analog video camera you will need a TV capture card for your PC to do that.
if you have a digital one the software should be included in your device installation CD.

How can I see multiple video security camera screens all on one computer and monitor ?
This depends on what type of cameras you have and how you are getting them to display on your computer.
If they are analog cameras, you will have one video connection coming from each camera. Unless you happen to have an input board that supports multiple video inputs, you will need to get a device known as a "multiplexer". This takes multiple inputs and combines them into a single output that can be fed into the PC.
If you have IP (network) cameras, the viewing software provided with the camera generally allows you to view multiple cameras on the same screen. If you are using a web browser to view your cameras, you may need to launch several instances of your browser and arrange the windows so that all cameras can be viewed simultaneously.
