Wall Safe Doors
What's the safest way to clean the grout on my shower without damaging the porous limestone tiles?
The limestone tiles are on the floor and walls of my custom walk-in shower. There is a glass brick wall on the exterior door.
I don't know how it will work for you, but my grandmother always used to use whitening toothpaste and baking soda on her limestone tile. She was a little crazy though.

what is the best way to get rid of mosquitos in your house?
we just moved into a new house, and the mosquitos are HORRIBLE, outside and in. i know there's nothing i can do about being outside other then using citronella candles and putting bug spray on, but how can i get them to stop coming into my house?
do they find secret holes in the wall and sneak through there, or is it when i open and close the door to the outside? anyone know if it's safe to burn citronella in your house?
i'm tired of them buzzing around my head when i'm sleeping and biting my feet when i'm watching tv!! help!
just so people know, there is a big field behind my house that has standing water, so thats probably where the mosquitos are coming from....
Make a trek all over your property and check for standing water anywhere or any containers that can hold water. Empty them and turn upside down or discard. If you do have standing water, mosquitoes will lay their eggs and they will hatch in no time. If you use rain barrels for watering a garden, place a cover over them to prevent mosquitoes from laying eggs. If you have any permanent low spots on your property that holds standing water, pour cooking oil in it. Doesn't take too much, if there is larvae in the water, they can't get out through the oil and will die. As for in the house, I would use a fly swatter and just swat them til gone. Hope this helps.
