Wall Safe Kit
i need help installing ice maker kit to my whirlpool fridge.?
i bought a ice maker kit, but i got the non self piercing saddle valve. i really dont want to buy a T connector. my option are to drill into the cold water Polymer Braid Faucet Supply Line or the copper pipe coming out of the wall. please help and let me know which one would be better and safer.

Saddle valves only work on solid pipe. It should work fine on the copper line. The fact that you would even consider putting it on the flexible line is a little scary.
Saddle valves can work fine, but sometimes they leak if not carefully installed. They also don't always deliver enough water pressure to allow the ice maker to fill up properly. This causes the ice maker to freeze up or make very small ice cubes.

What is the actual safe maximum to use with this fixture?
I have a DIY lamp socket kit that came pre-wired with a wall plug and was ready to be strung through a homemade lamp, but I installed it in the side of my vivarium. I'm looking over my options for type of light bulb I want to use but when I decide I need to know the rating that this socket can safely handle for 12 hour runnings a day. (The socket says 660W 250V on it)
If it says 660W, then that should be the maximum wattage bulb though it can be pretty hard to find anything over 200W in a regular store. I have a lamp right here at my computer desk that's on from dark until whenever I go to bed which can be very late so it's often on for 9 hours or more continuously and I've been using this lamp for a couple of years. It has a porcelain socket rated for 660W 250v and it's a work lamp type of thing with a clamp to fasten it to whatever, and with a metal shade. I have a CFL bulb in it now but until recently I used a 150W incandescent in it. My lamp does not give a recommended bulb type, and if yours is the same then I would assume that a standard type A bulb would be fine and I don't know why a reflector bulb wouldn't be okay, or in fact any incandescent or CFL up to 660W. If you use a very large bulb, the lamp itself should be fine but I'd be very careful about how close it is to anything combustible including a shade if you use one, so the lamp shining on it doesn't get anything too hot. You might want to test that factor while you can be at home to monitor it properly.

Ummm… I dunno what that was about but yes jailbreaking is safe. I have mine jailbroken and it's great! Make sure to download the cydia app installous (how to find it can be looked up on YouTube) it's the free app installer once you've done it. And there are different jailbreaks for different generations but over all I suggest using greenpois0n if it's compatible with your ipod
