Wall Safe Parts
Where should I move to in SoCal this is fun, safe, and has a lot to do?
I moved to the San Fernando Valley 3 years ago with my wife. More specifically we live in Reseda. For the last while the neighborhood has been getting dirty and everything rolls up and closes at like 10pm. I want to have much of the things that I left when I moved here from Chicago. Ideally I would like to be near walking distance to a lot of places like bars, restaurants, grocery stores. I also would like love to be able to order delivery at 2 in the morning if I wanted to. Also, I would like the neighborhood to be as safe as possible. I've thought of different areas like North Hollywood and Valley Village but I'm not sure those parts would work for me. Currently my wife and I rent a house for about $2000 with 3 bedrooms. We would do something similar in price and could get away with 2 bedrooms at a townhome or even an apartment that doesnt have paper thin walls.

Health concerns about the black mould around my fridge?
I have an integrated walk-in refridgerator in my kitchen which is approximately 20 to 30 years old. The metal frame between the wall and the door and also parts of the wall itself are covered in black mould. Thick enough that for large areas the white paint is completely obscured by the black. Is this dangerous in any way as my wife is now pregnant with our first child? Can it be removed, is it safe to do so?

I had this concern too as we had black mold in our basement and i was afraid of it being spread through the house via the heater ducts. We had a professional cleaning service come in and professionally remove it. It would have cost about $3000 but our home owners insurance covered it...
I did a lot of research about it online, and mainly what i read was that it "May be" related to birth defects and miscarriage but the scientific research done on it is too limited to say for sure.
Either way, get it taken care of, professionally so you aren't releasing mold spores into the air and onto other surfaces, and don't risk it!
