Do you have the right to use deadly force in Louisiana?
If someone is in your yard, I heard that if you give them a verbal warning to get off your property, you can use lethal force to make them, as long as you do not shoot them in the back. I have also heard that in Louisiana your vehicle is an extension of your home so the same applies while you are in your vehicle. Is this accurate information?
You can only use deadly force if you are threatened with deadly force, Somebody standing in your yard does not pose a threat to your life unless he is pointing a gun at you.

7/7 Scotland Yard Israeli Embassy warning?
My dog jumps over the fence every time she is left alone in the yard. What should I do to stop this??
I really hate chaining her up inside the yard when we have a fence, and the shelter has warned us about her and I really dont want my dog taken away. (she leaps like an impala)
We got the electornic fence from PETSMART. It works well and although the dog will probably get zapped once, it will learn from that once and never do it again. The collar is not uncomfortable and you can adjust it so the dog can get as close as a foot or two from the fence without being affected.

I would never use a shock collar on my dogs. I agree it can be useful, but if something was to go wrong…
I feel the clicker is a much better option, but not the way you plan to use it.
The clicker isn't used to get the attention of the dog, it's used to reward what the dogs doing at that exact moment, which would be barking.
When Cujo barks, you call him to you. As soon as he turns and begins walking to you, click and treat. If he's constantly barking, "Hush now" if he goes silent, click and treat. He should go quiet when you say that because he'll look at you like 'What are you talking about?' That's the moment you should click for.
I believe that a clicker can be used to train anything, a collar should only be used for special cases.
EDIT: Spray collars work as well. I used one for my dog when he barked during the day. I was always there to supervise though, he just didn't know it. When the dog barks, it sprays either water, or citronella spray right underneath their jaw. I would prefer the clicker method…but this works too.
