WordLock Letter Combination
How can I reset a Staples Wordlock?
I just bought a Staples wordlock and as I was setting a code, I accidentally twisted the "tumblers" or the letters as I was twisting the lock to "set" position and now I don't know the code!
Is there any way that I can open/reset/change the combination code without the set code?
I did this too. If the lock is still in the open position, try "match".
If not, sorry, you are out of luck and will have to try all the variations.
The lock came with a booklet that lists many of the combinations. Start with those, and tick them off as you go.
This could take a while, but it will not take as long as doing a normal lock because you do not have to reset after each combination.
