Sprinkler Systems - Lawn Sprinkler System Repair
I got an estimate for $2600 for new sod and sprinkler system for 1000sqf. yard. Does that sound about right?
That sounds like a price from several years ago. I'd ask for a breakdown detailing what they are going to use and how they will install.
Does ground prep for the sod include rototilling, soil ammendments?
What type sprinkler system, brand name, guarantee on parts and installation. Types of back flow preventing valves. Automatic system. How sophisticated is the controller? El Cheapos aren't as flexible in controlling the stations. Oh yeah, how many stations...one, two, three?? Depends on your water pressure and flow. How much overlap on the system? A drop in pressure somewhere could mean a drop in coverage and dry spots.
History of the company. Will they be around to repair the system?
